Cherokee Nation will host three cultural immersion camps for children who are in Kindergarten through 8th grades.
Participants will learn about Cherokee language, history, art, music, traditional games and crafts such as marbles, stickball and basket making.
Camps are scheduled in Maryetta, June 14 - 18, White Oak, June 7 - 11, Jay, June 21 - 25, and in Muldrow, June 28 - July 2.
Parents must provide their child’s transportation to and from the camp daily. Snacks and lunch will be provided. There is no cost for the camp.

Learn about Cherokee Language History, Art, Music, Traditional games, crafts
(marbles, stickball, basket weaving, cornhusk dolls and much more)
- The Cultural Day Camp is for students coming out of Kindergarten through 4th grades (No exceptions)
- Child must abide by all rules of the camp.
- Child must have tribal membership or CDIB.
- Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack is included.
- Parent/s must provide transportation to and from the camp daily.
Application deadline is five o’clock on May 31.
Applications received after time and date will be put on a waiting list.
